What is a PEO?
A Professional Employer Organization is a staffing company that specializes in the management of administrative and human resource functions for businesses.

Think of a PEO as a full-service, off-site human resource department.  Client companies recruit and hire employees and they become “shared employees” or “co-employees” with the PEO. Client companies provide the day-to-day management of the shared employees and the PEO administers the ancillary HR functions and paperwork.

At Brumley, we call this three-party relationship “Sharesourcing.”™

In Texas, the PEO industry is licensed by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Licensed Texas PEOs must meet certain minimum licensing and financial requirements, which Brumley far exceeds.
